Film Tour

I’m touring Australia with my new film Modern-Day Castaway about my 50-day survival expedition up the Great Barrier Reef in a dugout canoe. I will host a screening in each location with talk afterwards about what happened behind-the-scenes. See my dugout canoe the ‘Salty Kangaroo’, close-up and buy a signed copy of my book Modern-Day Castaway, about the same adventure.

I’m doing an anti-clockwise lap of Oz, starting in Brisbane on 28 June and pausing in Perth in August to book the next section, aiming to complete the tour by mid 2026.

It’s not just a film tour. In each state capital I’m going to live aboard the canoe for 3-7 days, foraging and fishing for food. Like the Barrier Reef expedition I’ll be surviving with just the materials my shipwreck survivor had and learning more about Aboriginal people lived in the local area before settlement.
